iSat Integration
iSat have experience of rack and VSAT integration since 1990's and designs can be quickly amended to meet new integration requirements.Designs available include RF patch panels and shelves containing splitters, combiners, line drivers, with monitor points to front or rear or both. These shelves may can also contain L-band manual or motorised switch, dc inserters, and L-band break out panels for cross-site cables etc.
Design of rack layouts is a speciality which delivers reliable and easy to use layouts. Experience takes into consideration ventilation for electronic equipment, power distribution, cable type, and cable layout for ease of maintenance. Each rack comes with wiring diagram, wiring list with cable numbers, and each cable has that number on each connector.
iSat has built earth station RF communication cabins which are resilient independent equipment rooms with a high level of signal security. Features include redundant 3 phase mains input, redundant air-conditioning, gland and interface panels for waveguide and fibre with designs to hold 2, 3, 4 or 5 racks.
Experience in flyaway and fixed VSAT terminals has created power solutions that can source power from 12 and 24 Volt battery, solar and petrol generators. iSat use only IATA safe Lithium battery compatible with transport by air.
Resilience is available against cold and windy locations where Radomes are required for Ku and X-band VSAT terminals.
These solutions allow iSat to respond with intelligent suggestions for almost any RF integration challenge.

John Yates joins iSat as non-executive board director.

feed for the C-COM manufactured 1.2M Ku-band Auto Deploy iNetVu®
transportable system.
This revolutionary terminal has been developed to accommodate X-band
BUC powers from 10 to 40 watts and can be transported in 3 lightweight and
reasonably sized transportable cases. Building on the renowned quality of the
iNetVu® mobile antenna systems, this development meets the needs of
governments looking for increased flexibility and value. The iSat / C-COM
transportable solution meets all relevant technical and safety requirements,
and has been successfully range tested for compliance with ITU
specifications.
“X-band is a growing market for customers wanting highly resilient
satellite communications solutions to operate in times of stress when
traditional mobile and fixed communication infrastructures are unavailable or
unable to support the volume of traffic” says David Harper, CEO of iSat.

X-Band terminals are built to last. They are
able to stand temperatures of
-50°F to 160°F (-46ºC to 71ºC) and are built to withstand wind speeds of up
to 125 mph, That’s over 200km/h! iSat can also provide an integral
air-conditioner for use in hot climates or
electrical anti-icing systems for cold climates. Additionally
Lightning protection can be included to ensure maximum protection even in a
storm.
iSat not only provides the terminal’s but has an extensive range of
technology’s to protect and augment functionality:
ü The terminals are available in various antenna
sizes and maximum EIRP levels.
ü The entire RF package (transceiver and LNB)
is located on the antenna.
ü Strategically placed shielding provides
protection from excessive solar radiation affecting the active components
protecting your investment and maximising longevity.
ü An optional shocked mounted rack/ flight case contains the indoor
equipment, including a PSK modem and space for customer equipment. This case
can be fitted with an integral air-conditioner for use in hot climates. For
cold climates, electrical anti-icing systems are available.
ü Optional quick release waveguide connectors are available for
applications that require rapid equipment replacement.
ü Other options include fibre optic IFL, voice
/ data multiplexers, routers, etc.
ü The VSAT network can be anchored to our range of hub
stations comprising of antennae from 3.7m upwards and air-conditioned
equipment cabins.
iSats terminals
can be used in star and mesh based networks and operates with standard serial
terrestrial data interfaces including Ethernet ensuring maximum compatibility
with almost any system. Additionally the entire RF package (transceiver and
LNB) is located on the antenna.
Each terminal is
supplied with set of Installation tools and can be supplied in re-useable
wooden packing cases.
